Sen. Althoff has been a long-time supporter of historic preservation, and her passion for keeping Illinois' history alive is unfaltering. As a way to spotlight the importance of these historic sites, she has made it her goal to frequently visit some of the sites to highlight not only the significance each site offers, but also point to the economic impact they have on the communities where they reside.
Her Living History Video Series journey began in 2016, where she visited state historic sites located throughout Illinois. At each site, she created a short video to share with all of you. You can find her entire 2016 Video Series below.
